Luis Enrique celebrates winning another trophy.

Luis Enrique did it all, celebrating the goal, celebrating the trophy. However, in front of the microphone, he frankly expressed the feelings in his heart. After winning the UEFA Super Cup, the PSG coach said that Tottenham Hotspur actually deserved the victory.

Tottenham was very close to that 'deserved' victory. The English team was leading 2-0 until the 84th minute in Udinese, Italy on Wednesday. After that, the extraordinary story of PSG's comeback. Substitute South Korean winger Lee Kang-in scored in the 85th minute. Gonzalo Ramos equalized in the fourth minute of added time at the end of the 90th minute.

Later, Enrique's team won 4-3 in the tiebreaker. The team, which made history by winning the treble last season, started the new season by winning the trophy.

However, the PSG coach revealed his true feelings after the match. There was not much rest and break time after the Club World Cup. He also highlighted the fact that he had to get back on the field and start preparing.

“We didn’t deserve the win for 80 minutes. I think Tottenham deserved the win in the match because they were in form, had been training for six weeks and played a great match.”

“We only trained for six days. But sometimes football is unfair. I have to say, we were lucky to score two goals in the last 10 minutes.”
